A list of some pregnancy milestones we’d like to remember.

• June 30, 2009 We made a baby!  (but don’t know it yet)
• July 2, 2009 We fly to Colorado for a visit with Jenny and Thomas, Jim and Dorothy (I out fish James in at 11 Mile Canyon)\
• July 4, 2009 We celebrate our 6th anniversary!
• July 10-12 2009 We hang out in Western MD for the weekend with Mom and Aunt Kathy.
• July 13, 2009 First and second positive pregnancy tests
• July 14, 2009 4 weeks: Third and fourth positive pregnancy tests
• July 15, 2009 Fifth positive pregnancy test… ok it is official- there’s a fetus in there!
• July 16, 2009 Consult with our midwife, we like her- she tells us to come back in a month for our first real visit
• July 28, 2009 6 weeks: Coffee no longer tastes good to me.  It is a sad day.
• August 4, 2009 7 weeks: First ultrasound- everything looks good! Bo is officially a little blob
• August 20, 2009 9 weeks: First appointment with the midwife- heard the heartbeat on doppler- going strong at 160
• August 24, 2009 We get our doppler and start listening to the heartbeat at home (here is the 11 week recording)
• August 25, 2009 10 weeks: Bo takes his first trip to NYC
• August 29, 2009 Bo takes his first trip to SC to visit Liz, JJ and Anna-to-be
• September 04, 2009 11 weeks: Bo takes his first trip to Michigan to visit the family
• September 08, 2009 12 weeks: First trimester scan and genetic screening
• September 10, 2009 First maternity pants!  Finally!
• September 11, 2009 We announce Bo to the blogging world and explain our absence from this blog the past 12 weeks
• September 15, 2009 13 weeks: First trimester is over and on to the second trimester!  Results from the screening show Bo is healthy and almost 3 inches long!  We celebrate!
• September 18, 2009 Bo takes his second trip to Michigan to attend Jessy and Sean’s wedding and gets his first clothes from his great-grandma Liz!
• October 05, 2009 Got my flu shot!
• October19, 2009 Got my H1N1 shot!
• October 27, 2009 19 weeks Second trimester scan- Bo looks good and we find out Bonobo is a GIRL!!!
• November 1, 2009 20 weeks I feel Bonobo moving around for sure.
• November 13, 2009 22 weeks James feels baby Bo moving around finally.

Milestones to come:

Thanksgiving with the family (23 weeks)

Christmas with the family in Alabama (28 weeks)

My 32nd birthday- 32 weeks pregnant- how fun!

Winter Olympics (35 weeks)

Rapidly approaching due date… March 23, 2009… the family starts gambling on the actual birth date!
