Garden Work. 16 June 2008

I realized last weekend that the front flowerbed was getting a little overgrown. Last year I planted it with all kinds of wildflowers. This year James was supposed to plant the front garden with his flowers but he never got around to it before the wildflowers took over again.

Our little maple tree is completely taken over by 6 foot tall poppies and bachelor’s buttons.

Fortunately, after an hour or so of work I ended up with a much emptier bed and could actually see my little tree again.

My supervisor approved.

Before I left for work Bonny was begging to be let out for the day.  Since Huck found a new home, I’ve been a bit shy about letting her out during they day even thought she always comes home but today I make an exception and let her silly cat ass out after I took a few photos of her behind our new shades.

Pictures of the mysterious black cat that lives under our bed.  We’ve had her for almost 5 years now and she still lives under the bed.
She comes out at night  when we are in bed and sits on James as he falls asleep.   She is a little creepy 6 pound black cat.
