We spent some time today on the NCR Trail/Little Falls trout fishing and beagle swimming and knitting. I finished my reversed Endpaper Mitts just in time for… summer.

We went to DC to visit my friend- there was exactly enough time for Ethiopian food.
We were so important we had to sit in the window so passers-by could see how happy we were with our food.
And how happy we were with the wine!
And how happy we were in general
and how happy we were when the food came
and just about then she started getting annoyed by me taking all the photos
so we ate. YUMMMMMMMMM.

My cooking for the party- this is the red and green peppers with celery and garlic and ginger for the stew…
…which was a Chicken Peanut Stew- I should have made it vegetarian but I forgot.
Crab, shrimp and mussel chowder- one of our favorite dishes to make- with fresh seafood from the local market.
My secret ingredient for life- Berbery Powder from the Ethiopian Restaurant.
And inspired by Three Name Girl raspberry and lingonberry filled cupcakes.
