After we relocated to the basement I realized how beautiful the light was coming in the windows late in the afternoon. Woci is my favorite subject for the afternoon portraits and she barely puts up with my near constant photography.

Woci and I have a fun work time tradition- every day she tells me if my hair look good, so-so, or please put on a hat. Today she was in a car on her way to Thanksgiving in another state so I sent her a photo of my hair so she could judge it for me.
Woci is knitting- she got some really beautiful yarn yesterday, Paton’s Soy Yarn. It is beautiful and incredibly soft.
Today she showed me her pattern- somehow last night she invented 1×1 ribbing all on her own!
Though I think she is twisting her stitches because she knits backwards from me and won’t listen to me about her backwards knitting. Ha!
We had a nice lunch today in Fells Point from Tacos Jalisco (2007 Best Street Vendor Food). We had tamales, tongue, tacos and guava soda- and then I put an eye patch on James and made Woci pose for me.
